Learn How Paolo Paraiso Maintains His Abs-tastic Body
When he walks into the room, eyes are sure to turn. Actor Paolo Paraiso naturally has this quality in him that just makes you stare. For the chest: Bench Press. It’s lifting a barbell upwards and down while lying on the machine. Apart from its sculpting effect, it also increases your upper body strength from heaving all that weight!
For the back: Chin Ups. You’ll need to pull yourself up at bar until you reach the chin or shoulder level, then slowly lower your body down, done for a number of times. This challenging move will motivate you to perfect your form!
For the shoulder: Arm-hold Press. Repeatedly using this version of lifts tones the muscles on your upper body, shaping your shoulders (and arms!) in the process.
For the arms: Bicep Curl. Everyone who goes to the gym does this! Who doesn’t want toned biceps, right?
Apart from these, he shares some tips on how to workout effectively:
1. Stick to basics. “‘Yung training exercises that I mentioned, ginagawa ‘yan lahat ng nagpapaganda ng katawan. Mag-umpisa ka sa basics and kapag palagi mong ginagawa, magfo-form na ‘yung shape mo.”
2. Be consistent! “Mahirap gamitin ‘yung machines sa simula, so dapat araw-arawin. Masasanay ka rin, basta gawin mo consistently at walang daya.”
3. Have a routine. “Three sets, ten repetition, okay na ‘yun. May resulta na ‘yun.”
4. Safety first! “Make sure lang na nasa tamang form ka lagi, ‘yung kamay mo, ‘yung shoulders, ‘yung whole body mo. To avoid injuries na rin and ma-achieve mo ‘yung results na gusto mo.”
